Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation. an exercise for physical and mental wellness. In Sanskrit, “prana” means life energy and “yama” means control.
In yoga, pranayama is used with other practices like physical postures and meditation. Together, these practices are responsible for the many benefits of yoga.
Ashtanga is a dynamic form of yoga that combines breath and movement together .
As a beginner you get more one on one guidance. You learn one pose at a time, gradually learning the sequence.
You repeat the poses until you feel confident and gradually add more poses, to keep deepening, opening and strengthening your body and mind .
